This engagement session had all the right elements: A darling couple, gorgeous sunlight, pretty dresses, lovely flowers, and lots of love! This couple nailed it! When I met Debra and Hubert back in January we instantly clicked and I knew this was a perfect Something Blue couple…they were funny, sweet and head over heels in love! I couldn’t wait to photograph them!
Debra and I went back and forth a few times to make sure everything was going to be perfect for this session, and it was! She wore the cutest dress that looked amazing at golden hour with the sun coming through the tulle. Hubert looked sharp in his sweater vest and grey suit..these two were straight out of a magazine! I was pleasantly surprised to see how “into it” Hubert was! LOL
He was running through the field with Debra, playing with her fun dress, laughing, and making jokes. He even picked her up at one point and just started running around and spinning her in circles! I was laughing so much it was hard to keep my camera steady! After frolicking in the field for a bit, they shared some rosé wine on a blanket at sunset, it was very sweet.
The duo decided on an outfit change for the second half of the session. Debra changed into this very sexy,  low back, red dress and Hubert changed into a navy blue suit. We walked around the other side of this gorgeous property, which goes back to the early years of the twentieth century. There is a beautiful gated garden and a wisteria-covered pergola, which was perfect for pictures. When Hubert proposed to Debra, he read an excerpt from the book “The Little Prince”, which is one of Debra’s favorite books. During the session they took a few minutes to read some of the pages as they cuddled up on the steps together.
I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect session! I had so much fun with this sweet couple, I can not wait for their May 2017 wedding at the beautiful Crystal Springs Resort!
