Farm Engagement Session :: New Jersey Wedding Photographer

OMG! That’s all I kept saying during this super fun farm engagement session! Alexis (Lex) and her fiancé, Paul,  decided to do their session on Paul’s family farm in Blairstown NJ. They’ve had the farm since 1976, and its AMAZING. It was hard to believe this was in New Jersey!

HOLY COW (pun intended) is an understatement! They have tons of sheep and cattle that were so friendly including a special cow named Norman, who was really shy but so sweet. We were able to get some great candid shots of what “farm life” is like.

We had a great time geting to know each other and ended the session with a beautiful sunset with views of the Delaware Water Gap. I couldn’t get enough of this country-themed session and can’t wait to go back and visit again soon!

How did you meet:
We met at Wicked Wolf in Hoboken almost 2 years before we started dating (Sunday Funday haha) 

The proposal:
He proposed at sunrise on brick beach with my family there, and the rest of both our families were waiting at our house when we got back home. We celebrated with breakfast ,and then all day with us!

What’s your favorite thing about each other?
My favorite thing about Paul is his overall outlook on life, his ability to create calm in any circumstance and never take anything too seriously. He has amazing work ethic and he makes me feel like the luckiest girl alive to have him.
His favorite thing about me is my heart and thoughtfulness, putting other people above myself and wanting everyone to feel special.
