Engagement Sessions

Kelsey and Daulton are getting married in June! (I have to admit, it’s crazy to say that – this is my first blog of 2024!). The soon-to-be newlyweds are huge fans of Ocean City and Cape May. Immediately, I knew we had to plan an engagement session on the beach in the Summer. Last Summer, I met up with Kelsey and Daulton on Cape May to celebrate their engagement with a stylish session… and it was an absolute dream!

Historic Cape May Engagement Session

We kicked off Kelsey and Daulton’s session in front of some of Cape May’s gorgeous Victorian houses. They’re so pretty and in the summer, they were overflowing with flowers everywhere. As we were exploring, we found the cutest pale pink gate. The color looked amazing against Victoria’s pastel purple shirt and white pants. When we were done with the homes, we moved to the boardwalk – a must see in the summer months! Kelsey and Daulton danced and cuddled along the boardwalk – in their own little Cape May world. When we were planning, Kelsey and Daulton knew they wanted to capture portraits at Congress Hall and as we moved that direction, we found the carnival going on! Of course, we made sure to incorporate it our photos and them on the carousel had to be one of my favorite moments all day!!

To end the night, Kelsey, Daulton, and I headed down to the oceanfront. The blue and white cabanas were perfect against the setting sun and really gave us the New England beach vibes we were looking for. With a dreamy cotton candy sunset, Kelsey and Daulton relaxed on the beach before we all said goodnight. I really couldn’t imagine a more beautiful Summer engagement session than this one in Cape May! Thank you for asking me to be a part of this special moment, Kelsey and Daulton!
