Congratulations to Julia and James! Julia and James are getting married next September. So, this Summer, they met up with one of my incredible associate photographers Amanda (love this lady!!) for their engagement session. We decided to photograph them at Island Beach State Park. Their portraits were romantic and full of the absolute best Summer beach vibes. Julia and James are the cutest and I can’t wait for you to see this gorgeous session.
Island Beach State Park Engagement Session
If you’ve never been to Island Beach, it’s pretty incredible. Island Beach is a gorgeous narrow barrier island that runs about 10 miles, known for its sand dunes and white sandy beaches. I’m so happy that Julia and James suggested this spot for their engagement photos. It was quiet the day of their session and they got the most beautiful sunset with Amanda! Julia chose the most perfect white Summer dress – looking like the bride-to-be that she is. James went with a casual summer look that complemented her summery outfit, too.
While most of their session took place on the beach and around the beautiful wildlife that the island has to offer, Julia and James also brought Julia’s mom’s Mercedes with them for a few photos. They had a blast creating some classic car shots with Amanda. I love how much Julia and James smile and laugh with each other. I know that their Fall wedding next year will be full of those same laughs and the joy that comes with being with your person. Congratulations again to you two!!
