Odessa FL Proposal at Distinctive Stables

Cassidy and Daniel are GETTING MARRIED!! I met these two during a styled shoot I photographed while in Florida – and I honestly fell in love with them both then. Daniel reached out to me after the styled shoot about photographing his proposal for Cassidy and I couldn’t say “yes” fast enough. With the help of Cassidy’s mom, we found Distinctive Stables and got Cassidy to show up ready to model. But, this wasn’t just any modeling gig – it was her proposal!

Proposal at Distinctive Stables

In Odessa FL, Cassidy’s mom found this beautiful horse farm, Distinctive Stables, that would allow us to take photos onsite. Like I mentioned, Cassidy came thinking she and Daniel were modeling for me. She was SO cute in her little white sundress (perfect color for the bride-to-be) and her cowboy boots. After they arrived, I had them pose and model for me – just to keep her really thrown off. On my signal, Daniel dropped to one knee and asked her to marry him. Of course she said YES!!!

I love photographing proposals because there’s something so special about capturing that incredible moment to look back on. But, I also like it because we can create beautiful portraits while you still have that “newly engaged” vibe, like Cassidy and Daniel did. Distinctive Stables turned out to be such a beautiful location, especially at golden hour, and the horses were cooperating – which allowed us to create some truly beautiful moments for them both! The last photos we took were some of my favorites of the entire day, as the golden light filtered over everything!
