Engagement Sessions

Shannon and Bryan first met in college at Rutgers after a party at Delta Phi got broken up! They ended up back at his house with a few friends and ended up hitting it off.
Shannon: “Bryan proposed to me on New Year’s Eve in Sarasota Florida. My whole family including aunts uncles and cousin were in on the surprise and I had absolutely no idea. He proposed to me using a video he created of all my closet friends and family lip syncing to the Taylor Swift song Mine which was our song. I was completely caught off guard and had absolutely no idea.”
This dreamy engagement session at Natirar Park had all the right elements..a stream, a barn, gorgeous light, and the cutest little pup! Originally their session was scheduled for last week but mother nature had different plans! No biggie, just re-ordered her bouquet and we were all set! They came to the park with their sweet dog, Cash! This 2 year old pup was so well behaved, it couldn’t believe
it! Cash absolutely loved running through the open field, and he’s fast!
Shannon’s mom was there too and she took Cash home so we could continue on. They knew there was a really cool bridge and stream up the trail, so we headed there. It was so pretty!
Naturally I wanted to go IN the stream to really get a good angle! The rocks were super slippery and we had many close calls! I ended up accidentally sitting in the water (fun times!), Shannon nearly face planted, and Bryan was just frolicking around like it was nothing LOL We got some awesome shots under the bridge that look like something right out of The Notebook (wowza!)
Next we headed to this open field and the sun was gorgeous! That beautiful, hazy light was amazing! My favorite part of the session was the barn filled with hay bales. It was so quiet and romantic, I could’ve shot there all night!

After lots of walking, nearly falling in the water, finding an animal pelvic bone in the field and some minor scrapes and bleeding, it was all worth it in the end..their session was just beautiful! I can’t wait for their Chimney Hill Estate wedding Sept 2017!
