Phew! Its finally done, and I couldn’t be more excited to show everyone the brand new Something Blue office! Bigger space, better location, and a nicer building! I signed the lease to this amazing space in January and we began a huge renovation to make it what it is now..Originally your typical office space with boring white walls, and ugly blue carpeting, we transformed it into the office of my dreams!
I wanted the office to exude “Weddings”, and I think we accomplished just that. The end result is the perfect blend of rustic meets modern..heck, we even have our photo booth for our clients to play around in and leave their picture on the wall!
I am so happy to have the amazingly talented Christina Dellanno (makeup artist and owner of of Perfect Bridals by Christina), in this location with me. She has the office at the top of the stairs to do make-up trials with her brides as well, which is great..I couldn’t have asked for a better roomie! (pictures of her space will follow soon!)
I couldn’t have done this without the help of my wonderful husband, Mark, who went to work on all my Pinterest inspired office projects, such as the pallet table, the “Love” bookshelf, and the thank you card picture frame, in addition to helping Christina’s husband, Paul, install the GORGEOUS wood flooring! This was a definitely a family affair, as I even had my kids there painting their little hearts out, and my brother, Patrick, helped us move everything from the old office into the new one.
