Bear Brook Valley Wedding :: New Jersey Wedding Photographer

I could literally talk about this wedding for days, but that’s because it was UNBELIEVABLE! I loved every.single.thing about it. I had never officially met Kristi and Joe until the day of the wedding, so I went into it having no idea what to expect. Kristi and I had exchanged many emails and had talked on the phone before but other than that I really didn’t know much about them. Two days before the wedding we jumped on a quick call and Kristi started telling me about #allthethings that would be at the wedding, including beach cruisers and giant balloons. Seeing as how I know that Bear Brook Valley is AMAZING in itself, I just had a feeling that this wedding was going to be epic. Kristi and Joe were super fun and laid back through the entire day. One of my favorite things was that they actually only had a maid of honor and a best man…no bridal party! This is pretty rare, as most of my couples have a pretty big wedding party, but if you are considering having just a MOH and BM…DO IT! It was so relaxed and intimate and we weren’t rushing around at all. The beach cruisers were a cute idea because Joe is BIG into bike riding…I actually learned that in the past 17 years he has competed in 147 triathlons!!!
Deb and Sabrina, from Peonies to Paintchips, were the wedding planners and floral designers and they seriously went all out for this wedding! From the huge centerpieces made of mixed greenery, to the ceremony arbor decorated with linens and flowers, to Kristi’s stunning bouquet, to the amazing cake stand..I often found myself just staring at things in awe of how beautiful it was. Kristi and Joe definitely set the bar high for the rest of my wedding season! Congratulations to these sweet newlyweds, who are honeymooning in Iceland!
