When I first met Colleen and Brian in my office, we instantly clicked and I knew this would be a couple that I would love working with! Once they told me they loved country music, that pretty much sealed the deal as far as I was concerned 😉 Colleen is the sweetest girl, and Brian is just hilarious and had me laughing all day! They had a huge bridal party..22 people! And not just 22 people, but 22 hysterically funny people!!! It was so awesome being able to spend the day with this group, and certainly made our job even more fun! Of course, just like every other wedding this year (what the heck is going on?!?!) it was a rainy day..again. Luckily the rain didn’t start until the second we finished our outside photo session! (phew!) Ok, can we just discuss the wedding gown, colors, and florals of this wedding? (Gasp!) First of all..Colleen’s Jim Hjelm gown was breathtaking!!! It was so original, I had never seen another like it! The dusk blue Amsale bridesmaids dresses were stunning and went beautifully with the gorgeous bouquets of pink roses and peonies! Each bought had a cream ribbon hanging..I was completely obsessed!!! I think every bouquet should have ribbons! LOL Brian and his guys wore black Vera Wang tuxedos and had sunglasses with the couple’s hashtag on the side. The couple had a beautiful ceremony at St James church in Red Bank, NJ and afterwards we headed to a local park down the road. The group kicked back and relaxed while we took some fun pictures, including a mock basketball game with the bridal party! The groomsmen lifted up the beautiful bride so she could dunk the ball..it was super cute! Brian and Colleen giggled and kissed their way through a romantic, sunny photo session and just as they stepped back onto the trolley, the rain started! The reception was a modern nautical theme with beach badges and vintage postcards as table numbers. The party was off the hook!!! I think my favorite part was when Brian danced with his mom! It became very clear where he got his dancing skills from! The couple had group pictures with each of their college friends from Boston College and LaSalle University and we ended the evening with some night pictures out on the dock! I really loved this wedding!
