Danielle + Andrew : Crystal Point Yacht Club :: Point Pleasant, NJ

Danielle and Andrew met 6 years ago at TGI Friday’s karaoke night. Andrew tried to buy her a drink, but she wasn’t even 21 yet. They got to talking and hit it off really well. Last year, Andrew took Danielle to the beach on her birthday, blindfolded, and proposed to her in front of all their friends and family. Shortly after, they started to plan their beautiful waterfront wedding at the Jersey Shore. Little did they know, that weekend would be the remnants of hurricane Hermine. The night before the wedding, the forecast didn’t look too promising, and there was talk of another big storm like Sandy. With Andrew’s father looking down on them from above, and by some small miracle..the storm went out to sea and they got their perfect wedding day! The couple shared a first look at the wedding venue before heading out to take their bridal portraits at the park. Now..I must warn you..when I first met this couple in my office, they told me how Andrew LOVES to be naked and is always in his underwear! It wasn’t until their wedding that I fully understood what they were talking about! Not only did the groom request to have a photo with “all the guys in their underwear”, but Andrew also ripped his pants at the park in the middle of the photo session! The fact that we were in a public park didn’t stop him from stripping down to his underwear and proudly finishing the pictures in his skivvies! Thankfully, I had a sewing kit and one of the groomsmen was a great tailor! This was by far the funniest thing I think I have ever seen at a wedding. We were all hysterical, and poor Danielle just kept laughing and shaking her head..she was not at all surprised! LOL
After Andrew re-dressed, we were able to get some romantic shots of the bride and groom before heading back to the venue.
Danielle and Andrew had an emotional wedding that was very touching. Andrew held back tears as his beautiful bride walked towards him. The ceremony was extra special, as one of the groomsmen (Chris) was the officiant and he spoke about Andrew’s late father, there wasn’t a dry eye in the crowd, and Andrew pointed up to the sky a few times smiling and crying at the same time.
The newlyweds had a beach themed reception and the bride even made the dune grass and sand fencing decor for the cake, it was really cute. Their first dance was to “You and Me” by Lifehouse. During the toasts, the best man, Patrick, told their guests about that very first night when the couple met at karaoke. All of a sudden, the DJ started to pay the song Andrew sang that night, and Patrick handed the groom the mic so everyone could experience it! And oh man did we! Andrew sang “Renegades of Funk” by Rage Against the Machine while everyone watched his epic performance!
It didn’t take long before he stripped down again, this time taking off his jacket and shirt, and dancing around in his vest..he’s just too much! Danielle has such a great sense of humor, and I love how nothing he does phases her! These two are a match made in heaven!
They are currently in Aruba on their honeymoon.
