Spring Wedding at Ashford Estate

Oh my gosh, Lauren and Jacob’s spring wedding day at the Ashford Estate was absolutely amazing! I had the honor of celebrating alongside their family and friends as they said “I do” at one of the most gorgeous NJ wedding venues ever! Not only was their wedding day beautiful, but it was so much fun (as evidenced by this IG Reel!). Lauren and Jacob are such wonderful and sweet people. It was a true honor to be beside them for their wedding day.

Ashford Estate Wedding Day

Lauren and Jacob both prepared onsite before meeting for a first look. I have to admit, Jacob’s reaction was definitely one of my all-time favorite groom reactions on a wedding day! He was absolutely breathless over his beautiful bride (and who can blame him?!). Thanks to their first look, we were able to capture many of their portraits, as well as their bridal party and family photos all before their ceremony. Lauren chose a gorgeous sage green dress option for her bridesmaids and I couldn’t get enough of them all together on the tree-lined driveway of the Ashford Estate. So beautiful!! I also had the chance to capture some incredible drone footage and photos – which has become my new favorite thing to do on a wedding day! Those shots are SO dramatic and a fun way to document the couple and the venue they chose for their big moments.

Spring Wedding Inspiration

The newlyweds held their ceremony outdoors, at the floating gazebo on the pond on the property. With beautiful peach, pink, and white flowers lining the aisle and filling their arbor, it felt like we were in this secret garden. It was absolutely perfect for Lauren and Jacob! The new Mr. and Mrs. toasted with champagne as soon as they were back up the aisle and got ready to celebrate with their family and friends.

Lauren and Jacob’s reception was absolutely stunning! They brought more of the spring flowers into the reception space at Ashford Estate. Paired with gold accents on their signs (including two delicious signature cocktails!) and mint green pops, they brought the elegance of the season into their celebration. Lauren and Jacob danced the night away with their loved ones and had their first dance to “Starting Over” by Chris Stapleton. It was truly the perfect night!

Congratulations again, Lauren and Jacob! Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your incredible wedding day at the Ashford Estate! I hope you enjoy your honeymoon to Greece and Italy this fall (I’m SO jealous!).
