Let me give you the 411 on Jacquie and Pat’s rustic April 11th wedding… it was PERFECT!! I had met Jacquie a few years ago when I was photographing a wedding and she was a DJ’s assistant. We clicked instantly and I was so excited when she reached out to me to photograph her wedding!
Jacquie’s rustic, vintage vision came to life with all of the pretty pink, lace, bows and pearl details. She and her friend Meghan handmade EVERYTHING from her invitations to her table numbers. When it came to Jacquie and Pat’s attire, they both wanted to channel their Hollywood Idols. Jacquie had loved the Wizard of Oz since she was a little girl, so it was quite perfect to see her rose gold Kate Spade Charm shoes as her version of Dorothy’s Ruby Slippers. Pat has been a big James Bond fan for many years and has watched every single movie. He chose to wear a classic black Calvin Klein tuxedo just like Bond, and his Bride even surprised him with a James Bond Groom’s Cake!
Jacquie and Pat embrace each other’s uniqueness and wanted their wedding to celebrate who they are as a couple. They started their special day with the ceremony at the Chapel of Immaculate Conception at Seton Hall University where Jacquie had gone to college. Their reception was held at The Barn at Perona Farms complete with a pig roast cocktail hour, fire pit, homemade donuts and the incredible amount of details created by the Bride and Groom. The happy couple picked an acoustic cover of Kings of Leon’s Use Somebody as their first dance in honor of the year that they met down the Jersey Shore. They danced the night away with their family and friends to Bruce Springsteen, and Jacquie even made a guest appearance on the DJ table!
