Megan and Peter met on the school bus when they were 14 years old..who would’ve thought they would end up getting married! They started dating after running into each other their senior year of college, and after living together for 7 months, Peter asked Megan to marry him!
The one thing Megan had dreamed of having was a tented wedding, so when she came across Windows on the Water at Frogbridge she knew this was the perfect place for their wedding. Megan didn’t really care about he color scheme, and since Peter’s favorite color was blue, they went with blue! Her bouquet was made up of 30 pink roses, and the bridesmaids had all white and light pink flowers. They matched the boys boutonnieres to the light pink flowers. Peter wore a red boutonniere in honor of his mother, who passed away 11 months before the wedding, and Megan also had a small photo of Peter’s mom attached to her bouquet.
They couple had an amazing July wedding day! Megan looked gorgeous in her David Tutera gown and Peter just looked so handsome! When the couple exited the church, their bridal party fired confetti string at them..I had no idea this was happening and it was the funniest church exit I have ever seen! They were completely tangled up in the string, it was hilarious!
After the church we headed to the venue, where we were able to get the most amazing pictures on the path by the huge weeping willow trees..and the lighting was just perfect! Their bridal party was a lot of fun, and you could easily tell how close this group of friends were.
Since Peters last name is Xouris, Megan spray painted a gigantic red X for them to have in pictures, and it also made an appearance later that night for their reception entrance!
The couple shared their first dance together to “Thinking Out Loud” and danced the night away with friends and family to The Time Machine Band (these guys are awesome!!!!)
Peter’s mom was an amazing baker, so to honor her at the wedding, Megan and Peter made 400 of her best Greek cookies as their favors 🙂
