How did you meet? We met in homeroom freshman year of high school. We were friends for a few years before we started dating (when we were 16!) We got married the month of our 10 year “dating” anniversary!
The Proposal! John went to Fairfield University in CT, and I went to Seton Hall University in NJ. We used to make it a point to not go any longer than 3 weeks without seeing each other, so I would drive up to Connecticut and we would always go to the beach by the campus. On our way back from a New Years party in Boston, John said we should stop at that beach in Fairfield since it was a weirdly warm January 1st! He proposed on the beach and I was so shocked!
Favorite moment of the day?Our favorite moment of our wedding was seeing each other for the first time at the alter, and dancing all night with all of my our family and friends.
Tell us about all the theme of the wedding! I really wanted an organic, garden feel for our wedding. I wanted my dress, flowers, and colors to be whimsical to enhance the organic/garden feel.
Why did you pick your venue?We chose Stone House at Stirling Ridge because it was modern, rustic, yet elegant at the same time. We wanted something a bit less traditional and we loved it the second we walked in!
Where are you going on your honeymoon?We are honeymooning in Mexico
