Congratulations, Courtney and Benton! Their stunning Crystal Point Yacht Club wedding day was photographed by my incredible associate team (shout out to Catarina and Emily!) and I can’t wait to share it all with you today! Despite some rain the day of their wedding, Courtney and Benton had a truly beautiful day and we loved working with them (and their loved ones)!
Crystal Point Yacht Club Wedding
The day kicked off with Courtney and Benton preparing with their wedding party before meeting for a first look. Courtney did have a sweet first look with her dad (and gifted him his favorite drink, too!) before she met with Benton. I am a huge sucker for first looks with family, especially the dads! They’re always such sweet moments. Courtney had a chance to refresh quickly before she went to meet her groom outside the yacht club. With the rainy weather starting, our team had to get creative with portrait locations – keeping them dry and out of the rain as much as possible. Thankfully, my team was still able to capture portraits of the newlyweds out on the docks. We love when couples are so flexible and trusting! I promise both myself and my team will do everything possible to make your dream photos happen!!
Because of the weather, their lawn ceremony got moved into the ballroom at Crystal Point Yacht Club. Their gorgeous floral arch, filled with cream, blush pink and white flowers looked perfect in the space. One of the highlights of the ceremony was when the ring bearer came down the aisle in a motorized Mercedes car! A crowd favorite for sure! After saying “I do”, Courtney and Benton welcomed their guests to their reception – where more summer florals filled the tables and set the tone for their fun (yet elegant) party. They danced their first dance to “Joy of My Life” by Chris Stapleton. One of the sweetest parts of the night was when Courtney and Benton surprised her mom with a mother/son dance. Her mom’s father passed away before her wedding (and Courtney has no brothers), so they wanted to create a special memory for her with her new son-in-law. How amazing is that?! The rest of the night was spent celebrating with their family and friends – and posing with the marquee lights of their last name (always a fan of those!).
Congratulations again, Courtney and Benton! Your wedding day was absolutely stunning and I’m so happy our team could be a part of it all with you!
