How did you meet?
We met at a local bar on football Sunday where Michael was bartending. It was also karaoke night and I’m a musician so of course I sang and I’m pretty sure he fell in love with me on the spot. =)
The Proposal!
It was a quarantine proposal! I was just finishing up work for the night and I came out to the kitchen where Michael was and saw a sushi dinner and wine on the table with a huge display of flowers. He proposed in the sweetest most intimate way. And videotaped the whole thing from his phone that was hidden on the kitchen window sill!
Why did you pick your venue?
I never really thought about having an indoor or outdoor wedding until Covid hit. I wanted everyone to feel safe and comfortable and I knew it should be a small, intimate outdoor wedding. I researched for a couple of days until I found The Inn Fernbrook Farms. I loved how open and beautiful the grounds were. I knew I didn’t have to look anywhere else. It is a fairytale venue.
Tell us about all the details of the wedding!
I knew I wanted it to be full of white and green flowers and just very bright, airy and natural. I loved the farm to table experience and the Fernbrook truly did not disappoint. I also loved the fact that I got to choose all of my wine and liquors. It made it that much more personal. I was happy as long as I had great food, exceptional wine and good ambiance.
It was a summer wedding and we were having some really hot days, so I was a little nervous about what weather we’d have for wedding day. Also, rain was another concern of course. The day of our wedding it was 79 degrees and sunny and it was absolute perfection. It was made for us.
Favorite moment of the day?
My favorite moment of the day was the “first look.” To see Michael’s face at that moment was something I’ll never forget. It just felt relaxed after that moment. There was no stress, no nerves. Just a happy and carefree day. 
Where are you going on your honeymoon?
We are planning a honeymoon in Italy this spring! Counting down the days!
