Maddie and Mark are married!!!! The now newlyweds have been together since they were teens and have been waiting over 10 years for this celebration. Maddie and Mark really went all out for their classic Fall wedding this September – making it super memorable for themselves and their guests. I can’t wait for you to see all of the fun touches they brought to their wedding at the Farmhouse!

New Jersey Wedding Day

The Farmhouse in Hampton NJ is an absolutely beautiful venue for classic wedding days like Maddie and Mark’s. I was obsessed from the moment I walked in and saw where Maddie was getting ready. It was such a STUNNING space – including a gorgeous Chanel chandelier. I mean, seriously?!? Before the big day, I found out that Mark’s mom actually designed their invitation suite and monogram – so I couldn’t wait to see it. It was incredible in person! When it was time for Maddie to get into her dress, we made sure to include that Chanel chandelier in the photos, too. I think it really brought an elevated touch to her portraits! While they were getting ready, Maddie also sent Mark a scrapbook she made of photos filled with the last 10 years. It was incredible.

Classic Wedding at The Farmhouse

Maddie and Mark opted to do a first touch around the corner of one of the stone pillars at the church instead of a first look. It was such a sweet and tender moment. I always love when couples do a first touch instead of a first look – it’s a nice little calming moment and they still get the surprise during their ceremony! Mark and Maddie also chose to exchange letters during their first look and read them to each other. They tied the knot in a gorgeous ceremony at the church (on the grounds of the place Mark wen to school).

The rest of the afternoon was spent capturing portraits around the grounds of the Farmhouse. Mark and Maddie are such a beautiful couple and their joy was infectious! They couldn’t stop grinning – and I don’t blame them. 10 years is such a long time to wait for a moment like this! When they were all pictured out, we headed into their reception. Talk about stunning!!! But, Mark and Maddie also made sure their party was FUN for everyone. My favorite moment was that Maddie and Mark were introduced to the song “Are You Gonna Be My Girl?” which was playing the first time they went on a date! SO cute. Their DJ was incredible and kept everyone on their feet all night long – and Mark and Maddie surprised their guests with light up sneakers to dance.
