Alyson and Chris are the absolute cutest couple! This September, I met up with them for their Barnegat Lighthouse engagement session on Long Beach Island, during what’s known as the “locals’ Summer”. We had a gorgeous day to get to know each other and capture their beach session!
Barnegat Lighthouse Engagement Session
Alyson and Chris are such playful and wonderful people. We laughed so much exploring LBI. One of my favorite moments was actually when they were being silly on the tower viewer. They were just relaxed and enjoying each other and the beautiful day. Alyson and Chris showed me some of their favorite spots on the beach and we made sure to spend some time close to Barnegat Lighthouse – where they popped champagne and cuddled up to enjoy some bubbly. They even had custom “LBI” champagne glasses!! It was the perfect end to our session together! I’m absolutely obsessed with Alyson’s looks for their engagement session. She chose the perfect white dress and a fun playful floral print for her second look. She looked SO gorgeous!
Alyson and Chris, thank you for trusting me to capture such an exciting time in your lives! I can’t wait for your June wedding this year – it’s going to come so fast!!!
The Proposal
The proposal was just magical! Chris had planned the perfect moment along the water in my parents beach house backyard, surrounded by our closest family and friends! What a special way to capture the next chapter together, LDW party turned engagement party!
Favorite Part of Your Engagement Session
We loved being able to capture our personalities together as a couple. It was so comforting having Susan behind the lens, less posing and just having fun with us 🙂
What are you looking forward to most about your wedding?
