Row Boat Engagement Session :: Allamuchy NJ

Taylor and TJ’s row boat engagement session was to die for! We started out at Rutherford Hall in Hackettstown NJ. It’s a gorgeous historical site that used to be a nunnery and was president Franklin D. Roosevelt’s old summer home! The estate sits on Allamuchy pond, which is where we spent most of the session. Taylor and TJ spend a lot time on the water fishing and whatnot, and TJ actually proposed to Taylor IN a river, in waist-high water, while they were both wearing fishing waders! Luckily, TJ didn’t drop the ring in to the river, and he was able to get his brother to capture the whole thing on camera. Given their love of the water, they wanted to incorporate it into their engagement session. When I tossed around the idea of getting a canoe or rowboat, Taylor was immediately on board! I have been dying to do a shoot like this for a long time, thank you Taylor and TJ of making my engagement session dreams come true! 😉
