Fall Mallard Island Yacht Club Wedding

Congratulations to Katelyn and Andy!! This fall, I had the absolute honor of photographing their incredible Mallard Island Yacht Club wedding day! It was full of so many beautiful moments and equally stunning rose gold details. The entire day was gorgeous and I had a blast with Katelyn, Andy, and their families.

Fall Mallard Island Yacht Club Wedding

I am absolutely obsessed with the details that Katelyn and Andy had for me the morning of the wedding. My favorite had to be their timeline. It was SO cute. Katelyn got ready at the venue and we made sure to capture them enjoying some pre-wedding mimosas on the balcony with Mallard’s iconic red roof behind them. Katelyn wanted to do a first look with her dad, so we planned for that in the bridal suite along with some super fun photos of her with Andy’s daughter, kicking off her new stepmom role! I just have to say, the rose gold dresses for her bridesmaids were some of my favorite looks for this wedding season!!

Katelyn and Andy met for their ceremony in the stone chapel at Mallard Island. It’s one of my favorite spots for ceremonies in New Jersey – so quaint, quiet, and intimate. Katelyn and Andy included his children in the ceremony, for a sand ceremony that would connect their new family. Afterwards, Andy’s shipmates completed the traditional military sword arch for the newlyweds! It’s always such a fun tradition – and beautiful photo op! Katelyn, Andy, and I explored the venue afterwards for their portraits. We enjoyed the most gorgeous glowy light and sunset – especially around the dock in the early evening. It was perfect!!

The new Captain and Mrs. partied the night away, thanks to an incredible live band with their guests. More rose gold, ivory, and navy accents filled the ballroom creating an elegant atmosphere for the party. Katelyn and Andy enjoyed dances with their loved ones and each other as the night wore on. I’m so happy that I was able to be with them (and their families!) throughout their October wedding day – and I hope they had a great honeymoon in Grenada!
