I first met Samantha and Brian a few years ago when I photographed their engagement session in New Jersey. They’re a beautiful couple and I’ve been following along on their journey through social media since their wedding. Recently, I saw that they made the move to Lakewood Ranch, Florida, where I also have a condo! I decided to reach out to say “hi” and we had the chance to catch up briefly. Not long after, Samantha told me that they were expecting and asked if I would consider documenting a gender reveal for them!!! Of course, I was so excited and we began to plan their gender reveal session on the beach in Sarasota Forida!

Sarasota Florida Gender Reveal on the Beach

Samantha and Brian decided to plan a quiet gender reveal for just the two of them on the beach in Sarasota. I thought it was such a sweet idea and a lovely way to celebrate this special moment. It also allowed them to celebrate, but do so privately. Samantha found a bakery who made a cake for them and she and Brian used glasses to cut into the cake to see the colored icing inside. Spoiler alert: THEY’RE HAVING A BABY GIRL!!! It was amazing to capture their reactions and excitement as they learned that Samantha is carrying their daughter.

I am SO happy for Samantha, Brian, and their new little girl who will be coming in November of this year. They are going to be the best parents and I know that baby is going to be SO loved. Congratulations again, you two!!!
