Lauren and Joseph are married! They planned a beautiful summer wedding at Bonnet Island Estate in Manahawkin, NJ. It was a romantic and elegant day, celebrating the start of their next chapter in life together. Lauren and Joseph chose a summery palette of blush pink, gold, and greens, which looked amazing against the light pastels around Bonnet Island Estate. It was the perfect summer wedding!
Summertime Bonnet Island Estate Wedding
From the moment I arrived to Lauren’s bridal suite, I knew I would be in for a day full of rich details – and lots of fun, too. I actually brought a bubble maker with me for some fun bridesmaids photos and it turned out to be a great hit, it was a blast in that room for sure. But, she also had the most gorgeous details ever, including an incredible watercolor invitation suite of the venue. I couldn’t get enough of those custom envelope liners!
When Lauren was completely ready, she met Joseph for a first look inside the chapel at Bonnet Island Estate. They were both overwhelmed (in the best way!) and you could just feel the happiness in the room. We explored around the chapel and in the gardens for some of their first portraits together on their wedding day. Their pup and flower girl, Ruby, even joined them for a few portraits, too. She was so sweet and super well-behaved for Lauren and Joseph.
The night of their wedding had the most beautiful sunset, so we made sure to spend a little time on the docks at Bonnet Island Estate for some last portraits together. I’m all about sunset portraits and these ones did not disappoint!! I love looking back on these portraits and seeing just how relaxed and happy the new Mr. and Mrs. were in that moment. As the sun finished setting, we headed back into their reception. Talk about wow – Lauren and Joseph had such beautiful florals and place settings, really pulling in the blush pink and gold from their color scheme. Simply stunning!
Congratulations again, Lauren and Joseph! I’m so happy for you both and I hope you’re enjoying married life along with sweet Ruby!
