Congratulations, Lauren and Joe! This summer, the newlyweds planned a gorgeous wedding at the Ashford Estate in Allentown, NJ with the most stunning details! Despite the heat, their entire day was absolutely beautiful and I loved being a part of their celebration.

Classic Ashford Estate Wedding Day

Lauren and Joe prepped onsite before meeting for a first look by the floating gazebo at the Ashford Estate. It’s one of the most beautiful spots on the entire property – I love it there! Lauren looked amazing in her wedding gown – so classic and elegant. I think Joe thought so too! He also looked amazing in his black tux. While I love some of the fun trends out there for bridal attire, there’s something truly beautiful about a classic black tux and wedding gown. Lauren and Joe both looked so elegant together, and their non-stop smiles and laughs together made every portrait even more perfect.

Afterwards, we were able to explore around the grounds together. It was SO hot, even for a July wedding – but we came prepared with lots of fans for us during portraits! Honestly, they were just both such troopers. Surprisingly, it rained a few times throughout the day… but always in between pictures, so we really lucked out! Lauren and Joe also had the cutest little fans for their guests and they made a unique detail in their portraits together. It was super smart planning.

Summer Wedding Palette

For this summer wedding, Lauren and Joe chose a beautiful pastel color palette that felt so classic and yet, really fresh. Lauren’s bridesmaids wore a dusty blue and carried bouquets of white, pink, and even some pops of blue. The same colors were echoed in their ceremony decor, and the amount of flowers adorning the space was unbelievable and looked absolutely gorgeous! Lauren and Joe’s reception was held in the stunning ballroom and with antique gold in the rest of their centerpieces and signs, everything looked picture perfect! Before their guests came in, Lauren and Joe had a beautiful reveal. They even had a chance to have a private moment on the dance floor together!
