Congratulations to Kim and Geoffrey on an absolutely stunning Fall wedding day at Bonnet Island Estate! I absolutely love working at this venue, and getting to capture a beautiful day like this one always makes it even more fun. Kim and Geoff created an elegant celebration filled with navy and blush details that felt absolutely incredible and was so fun for their loved ones as they kicked off their next chapter together.
Fall Wedding at Bonnet Island Estate
Kim and Geoff’s wedding day was full of their loved ones, but they kept their bridal party intimate, with just a maid of honor and best man. It made the morning feel so sweet and quiet as Kim prepared with her family before meeting Geoff for their first look inside the chapel at Bonnet Island. I can’t get over how happy they were to see each other that morning!! It’s one of the reasons I love first looks – they’re such a great way to start your day off.
After portraits around the chapel, we headed outside for some portraits with Geoff’s prized possession – a 1968 Pontiac Firebird. They put a “just married” sign on the back and some cans for portraits at sunset. It was amazing! Oh and I can’t forget: Geoff is the owner of his own gin company, Gin Lane 1751. We made sure to include some of his bottles in their photos after their first look. These little (or big, in the case of the car!) details are the things I love including in my couple’s portraits. It really brings their personality and story to life in the images!
Congratulations again, Kim and Geoff! I had a blast capturing your beautiful wedding day. I’m also SO jealous of your African safari honeymoon. Kim captured the most epic photos (she’s quite the photographer herself) and it was just amazing to see what they were up to after their big day!
