Congratulations, Francesca and Sean! In June, Francesca and Sean planned a beautiful summer wedding at The Refinery at Perona Farms. Before we get into their incredible wedding, I have to just shout out this amazing venue! The Refinery at Perona Farms is absolutely stunning – it’s got some great locations around the property for portraits, as well as a stunning bridal suite. The ceremony and reception spaces are so unique, too. I loved photographing Francesca and Sean’s wedding day here!
The Refinery at Perona Farms Wedding
When I arrived, Francesca was preparing with her ladies in the gorgeous bridal suite at The Refinery at Perona Farms. I photographed her stunning gold and white details while the ladies finished getting ready before we headed outside for some fun champagne photos! When Francesca was ready in her gorgeous strapless gown, she and I headed to the lake to meet Sean. Sean looked so dapper – and even had a sweet first look with his mother before meeting Francesca!
Francesca and Sean’s first look was so emotional. Sean cried when he saw Francesca for the first time – it was super sweet!! After they had a few minutes to enjoy together, we began to explore more of the property. Along the way, we found a fun little “hobbit” door with a stone wall. It might have been my favorite place for portraits at The Refinery at Perona Farms!! We finished with a few portraits at their ceremony site before their guests began to arrive.
Their ceremony was really special – and honored Sean’s dad, who has passed. Since Sean works at Entenmann’s, Francesca and Sean decided to even share a donut during their ceremony. Definitely a one-of-a-kind moment for them!! The rest of the night was spent partying with their guests. After their first dance to “I Am Yours” by Andy Grammer, Francesca and Sean enjoyed dancing the night away with their family and friends. I love that Francesca and Sean chose a neutral color palette with lots of whites, ivory, champagne, and gold so that the brick space of their reception could really stand out. It was a truly beautiful evening!
