When Carlie and Vincent said they wanted to do a sailboat session I squealed with excitement! There’s just something about these sessions that make my heart so happy! Being on that water and the way the images are so clean and white, it gets me every time. My husband, Mark, and I did a sunset sail a few years ago with Seaside Sailing and remembered how great Captain Mike was. We reached out to him for this session and he was so great and accommodating. I highly recommend working with Captain Mike for a session on Toms River! Carlie and Vincent’s Toms River engagement portraits are so dreamy – and I can’t wait for you to see them!
Toms River Engagement Portraits on a Boat
We started the session off with some casual shots on the docks before getting on the boat. Carlie wore a stunning flowy white dress that looked perfect blowing in the wind. It was so dreamy!! I wanted to get some wide shots of the couple on the sailboat so my husband and daughter came along for this adventure, using OUR boat as the “chaser boat”. It worked out perfectly. Mark and Captain Mike were able to pull up close to one another and helped me take a very brave leap from our boat onto the sailboat! I was a little nervous to say the least! My daughter, Lex, got some great behind the scenes videos of us on the sailboat which I will definitely be using for some reels in the future!
I couldn’t be happier with the way the photos turned out! Thank you for trusting me with your vision, Carlie and Vincent. I loved creating these portraits with you on the Toms River!
