How did you meet?
“We met our first year as teachers. I was a middle school teacher and Mark was a high school teacher in the same district. We met while both coaching middle school soccer in the Fall, even though neither of us ever played soccer lol. We were friends for a few months but knew there was something else and we started  dating at Teachers Convention in Atlantic City that November 2013. “
The Proposal!
“We had been talking about getting engaged but Mark told me it would be in the spring after things from school settled down, since we both coach sports all year around. Every year for our anniversary we go down to Atlantic City in the middle of January. We do the same thing every year! We do a little shopping, go to the Damn Good Sports Bar in the Tropicana and drink 40’s lol and then go to the Knife and Fork for dinner. In January 2017, we did just that! As we were walking around the Pier at Caesars, Mark got down on one knee in front of all the windows that overlook the ocean and proposed! Of course I said yes! He even hired a photographer friend to capture the moment! He convinced me to go have 40’s and dinner without telling ANYONE!!! He said on the way home we would stop at our parents and then see if any of our friends were out for the night to meet them and celebrate. After dinner he told me we had to stop at home first. When I walked in our house there were about 50 of our closest friends and family to surprise me and celebrate with us! I was so shocked and overwhelmed! Mark did good haha!”

  Favorite moment of the day?
“Our favorite moment of the day was walking down the aisle to see each other for the first time. We didn’t do a first look and it was really cool to see each other in the moment!”

Why did you pick your venue?
“We fell in love with our venue the minute we saw it! I loved the style of Atlantic City Country Club, the indoor and outdoor space and that we were the only event going on that day. We liked that it was near Atlantic City where we got engaged and started dating and it was in a good location from our church. We chose our church because it is located in my high school. It’s a beautiful little chapel and only graduates of the school are able to get married there!”

The bridesmaids wore Sorella Vita- coral. All the dresses were long and chiffon fabric but a variety of styles. The groomsmen wore navy tuxedos with a navy floral ties from Tie-Mart.

“Flowers were like the “theme” of our wedding. We just wanted everything to be decorated with flowers and candles. From the flowers on every table to the fresh flowers on the cake we just wanted everything to have the same colors and be pretty! We had flowers and candles on the fire place mantels, card table and memory table. The church aisle was lined with white hydrangeas and baby’s breath, as well as the altar.”
The Bridal Bouquet was gorgeous! It was made up of ivory, peach, and white flowers and accents of greenery. ( Mother of Pearl Roses, roses, hydrangea, ranunculus, white anemones with Black center and eucalyptus) The bridesmaid bouquets were similar to the bridal bouquet nut without the anemones.
The Groom wore a boutonnière that had a mother of pearl rose and white anemone.

“The cake was a 4 layer cake made from Simply Sweet Cupcakes in Egg Harbor City- winners of Cupcake Wars! Each layer was different. The bottom largest layer was a vanilla almond cake with raspberry filling, second layer from the bottom was a triple chocolate layer with chocolate filling. The third layer- Apple pie cake with apple pie filling- amazing! And the top layer was a lemon cake with blueberry filling. The cake was topped with a gold Mr. And Mrs. Peiffer topper and a clay sculpture of our dog Lucy that said I do too!! Both were from Etsy. The cake was decorated with fresh flowers just like the bouquets and centerpieces.”
” Favors- table favors were from Shrivers in Ocean City NJ- little bow boxes with a ¼ lb of either chocolate or vanilla fudge and 5 pieces of salt water taffy- vanilla, cream sickle, blueberry, & peach. At the end of the night we gave out Philly soft pretzels.”

Where did you going on your honeymoon?
“14 day tour of Italy- started in Venice for three days, Tuscany for 4 days where we visited Siena, Florence, went to a traditional Tuscan farm and rode horses in the countryside and cooked traditional Tuscan food. We also went on a wine tour and visited different wineries in the Chianti region. Amalfi Coast-4 days, we went on a boat tour of the Amalfi Coast, visited the island of Capri, swam in the Mediterranean and got massages overlooking the sea. Ended the honeymoon in Rome where we toured the Vatican and Ancient Rome. It was the most amazing vacation we had ever been on!!!!! “
