Clarks Landing Yacht Club Wedding:: New Jersey Wedding Photographer

How did you meet?
We met in good old Manasquan, NJ at The Osprey six summers ago. At first, I wasn’t thrilled to be chatted up by a stranger. But we quickly realized we had some mutual friends and were pretty much inseparable ever since.
The Proposal!
Eric had been planning a scenic snowy proposal on the Highline in Manhattan, but we never got a good snow, and the jeweler where he bought my ring shut down for covid the day before he was supposed to pick it up! So when he was finally able to secure the ring (2 months later in May lol), Eric planned a home cooked date night at our Upper East Side apartment. He said there would be a surprise, which I expected to be carrot cake, not a proposal! We did also have carrot cake that night after he surprised me with the ring.
Why did you pick your venue?
We chose Clarks Landing in Point Pleasant because we met at the Jersey Shore and wanted our guests to visit a place we both love. Point Pleasant is extra special to me because that’s where my parents met each other in the 80’s too!
Tell us about all the details of the wedding!
We wanted a classic, elegant, waterfront wedding. Fresh, white garden roses everywhere. Bridesmaids in blue/gray velvet dresses from Revelry and Groomsmen in black tuxes from Generation Tux. Eric wore a custom navy tux with black satin lapel and was super excited to change into his Nike Jordans for the reception. I wore a long sleeve, boatneck, and buttons Justin Alexander gown with a pop of gorgeous, sparkly beading details on the back. My something borrowed was a close friend’s veil she wore to her wedding 2 years before. We had the cutest flower girl, our niece Michaela, who matched me in custom jean jackets while we got ready for the big day. And our sweet little cousins, Billy and John, took care of ring security as our ring bearers. Clarks Landing provided tons of incredible food and drinks with white glove service. Including a surprise birthday cake (from Chocolate Carousel) for my dad, since we were also celebrating his 65th birthday! Our high energy band, Mission Dance, had live music from the outdoor ceremony throughout the cocktail hour and the reception with tons of dancing (of course with a few Bruce Springsteen songs)
Favorite moment of the day?
Hands down our chaotic ceremony right before a storm rolled in. Especially Eric’s heartfelt vows. I was SO surprised to see him crying. I really expected it would be the other way around, and I would be the crier. Besides that, the windy ceremony was one of the most exciting weddings I’ve been a part of. Obviously not how I had pictured things, but it was so fun making it all work before the rain got us. Which we did, just in the nick of time!
Where did you go on your honeymoon?
We’re planning our delayed honeymoon to Bora Bora this summer. It will be our “8 month anniversary” celebration, but we can’t wait to finally celebrate and soak in all of the sun and island cocktails together.

A gorgeous bride and handsome groom absolutely enjoying their wedding day!!
BEAUTIFUL 🥰
