Engagement Sessions

Lauren and Joseph are getting married! I met with them at Allaire State Park this spring for romantic engagement portraits. We had an absolutely gorgeous day for their engagement session and I loved laughing with these two, learning more about them and their dreams for their Summer wedding at the Ashford Estate. Lauren and Joseph have been busy planning their wedding since their recent engagement in October. In just a few more months, they’ll be husband and wife!

Allaire State Park Engagement Session

For Lauren and Joseph’s engagement portraits, we chose to meet at Allaire State Park in Monmouth County, NJ. Allaire State Park is absolutely gorgeous. It’s a 19th century village and the Manasquan River runs through the park. It’s beautiful all times of year, but I really loved it in the spring. Lauren, Joseph, and I explored Allaire State Park. The day of their session was absolutely PERFECT weather-wise: great temps, beautiful light, and sunny. We couldn’t have asked for anything better for their spring session!

Lauren chose a beautiful spring dress from Vici. It was pink and had the most gorgeous embroidered flowers and ruffled neckline. She looked amazing! Joseph kept things simple with a white button down and khakis. Classic and a great match for Lauren’s spring dress. Throughout the session, we talked as we explored the grounds and I learned alot about Lauren and Joseph . She’s a pediatric physical therapist and he helps run his family’s construction company. Both of them are just so laid back and sweet. Towards the end of the session we came across a field of little yellow flowers. It was like nature conspired with us to create the perfect accessory! Some of those photos turned out to be my favorites!
