For anyone who personally knows me or has regularly followed my company through the years, you already know of my friendship with Danielle and Bill. For those who don’t, here’s the back story: Danielle and Bill hired me to be their wedding photographer a few years ago. We did their engagement session on Island Beach State Park and then I photographed their beautiful wedding day at McLoone’s Pier House. Soon after, my husband and I ran into them one night in Atlantic City. We began hanging out together quite often and our friendship took off from there. Bill and my husband became buddies quickly, and Danielle is my bestie. After many fun times together, summer country concerts, lots of fishing and boat days, and trips to Ocean City MD, Costa Rica, and Cancun..I can’t imagine not having these two in my life. It’s so funny to think that they  were just “clients” 5 short years ago!
I was over the moon when they gave us the news that they were adding to a little boy to our clan! I knew right away that we had to do her maternity session and Danielle and I started brainstorming ideas. My husband (Mark) and I, drove up  to North Jersey where they live and were able to have access to a private barn. This location was everything! A pretty white barn with on an open field. Danielle looked STUNNING..you would never even know she was pregnant if you were walking behind her, she’s so tiny! We actually joked that it really does look like she’s being silly and has a basketball under her dress LOL
After the barn we headed over to the Appalachian Trail. It was so pretty!!!! We walked quite a ways down the winding boardwalk, we even got super close to a friendly deer, who seemed to be posing for all the pictures we took of him! We traveled a little further down the Trail and came to a beautiful wooden suspension bridge. The view was gorgeous and we took the last few pictures before running out of daylight.
Bill was a good sport through the session and Danielle wasn’t the only one “glowing”..you can see the excitement and pure joy they feel about finally getting to meet their son.
Everything about this session was beautiful..the couple, the gown, the bouquet, and the location! Thank you Danielle and Bill for allowing me to photograph such a special time of your lives…I cannot wait to meet baby Liam!!!
